who wants to be a bestseller?

A friend of mine has never had a bestseller and has told me that I really don't want one. Of course, he has written over 100 non-fiction books, so maybe he doesn't need one. I, on the other hand, do.…

No-reply emails

I don't know how many of you are experiencing this problem, but I keep getting a "no-reply" email from someone whose logo has a black background with red text embedded in it. The color combination makes the logo entirely unreadable.

I'm also annoyed that I can't reply. It has all the feel of a sales letter.

Hi Martha,

That's probably a good idea. In the meantime, there are a couple of places where you can read what I write. One is on my blog. The posts are infrequent, but I hope to be making entries more often in the coming weeks. The address for that is http://www.p-advantage.com/Blog/. The blog is entitled Another Fine Mess, and my posts are on real time events where companies screw up.

The other place where you can receive more regular examples is through my free newsletter, Two Sides of the Same Coin. You can read about it and subscribe at http://www.p-advantage.com/Newsletter.php. I publish a new issue the first Wednesday of each month. It requires more thought and is about 1500 words long. January's issue will mark the 16th issue.

Cheers, Bruce

thank you for your offer. why don't you add an article a week on the blog to become known here. I think you will find you can be very helpful, and others will finally react to you and tell you how you helped. they may even be helpful in your survey of how you help and build a list from that.
Have a great 2010.
