A friend of mine has never had a bestseller and has told me that I really don't want one. Of course, he has written over 100 non-fiction books, so maybe he doesn't need one. I, on the other hand, do. I have one book that was published a few years ago, and I would certainly like to see it sell better. Living in Italy, however, severely restricts my ability to market it anywhere except online.
Cheers, Bruce
Who wants to be a bestseller? I DO, I DO. Although, I'm not sure I can work much harder to get the book out there. Your fingers and shoulders only allow so much time before they give up. :) First, I have to get the book done which is a couple months away.
Until then....I'll keep reaching for that moment.
Does anyone know a good script writer? How about Camille Tucker? Everyone is saying my book,"It's In The Eyes", is perfect for a film. But I need an agent to do the liaison between me and the film companies or TV. I know someone at Warner Bros, but she can't accept materials from me...has to be an agent. Kim, you should be working on getting your review copies out now, registering with trade associations, setting up radio and TV, especially magazines--right NOW.
